You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected] within thirty (30) days of the charge and we will investigate in good faith. We routinely issue courtesy refunds for clearly unintended charges.
All fiction, artwork, branding, layout, code, and text on the Service are the property of AfterDarkStory or its contributors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may read and privately download permitted files for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publicly display, repost, scrape, train AI models on, or sell our content without prior written permission.
You agree not to (a) share account credentials with others; (b) attempt to circumvent authentication or access controls; (c) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (d) scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content; (e) reverse-engineer the Service; or (f) abuse, harass or threaten our staff, writers or other members.
All stories published on the Service are works of fiction. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or actual events, is entirely coincidental. Cities, institutions, companies, families, and titles mentioned are invented for narrative purposes.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, abuse of staff or members, or fraudulent activity. On termination your right to access the Service ceases. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email and/or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfterDarkStory's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
