How does the subscription work?
You pick a plan, enter your email and a password, and add a card. We charge you monthly on the date you subscribed. Your first seven days are free — you can cancel before day seven and never be charged a cent. After that, you can still cancel anytime in two clicks from your account page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Sign in, click "manage plan", click "cancel." You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. We won't bill you again. We won't send you retention emails for six months. We won't call. Promise.
Is the content really explicit?
Our stories contain mature sexual content, intimacy and adult situations between consenting adult characters. Tonally we sit somewhere between prestige cable drama and literary romance — explicit, but on the craft side, not the crude side. Everything behind the login is written for readers 18 and older, and subscribers consent to that content by signing up.
How many stories do I get per month?
All Access readers get roughly 10–12 new episodes a month across the five cities, plus occasional crossover and bonus content. City Pass readers get 2–3 episodes a month in their chosen city. Region Pass readers get 4–6 across two cities.
What devices can I read on?
Any modern browser on any device — phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, the Kindle browser, even your smart fridge if it has one. Region Pass and above include downloadable EPUB versions of every episode so you can send them to a dedicated e-reader.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
What's your refund policy?
If you're charged and didn't mean to be, email
[email protected] within 30 days. We refund. No interrogation, no form to fill out in triplicate. We'd rather you walk away happy than stay grumpy.
Will new cities be added?
Yes. We're planning the sixth city for year two. Founder VIP members vote on the setting.
Is there audio?
All Access and Founder VIP members get a quarterly audio narration bundle — selected episodes recorded by professional narrators. Full audio on every episode is coming later in year one.
Can I gift a membership?
Not yet — but soon. We're building the gifting flow now and it'll land before the holidays. If you need to gift one before then, email us.
Will my name appear anywhere?
No. Your account is private. We don't run leaderboards, public reading lists, or social feeds. Your reading history is yours.
